Huawei has recently unveiled its latest Android flagship at a London event. This new flagship consists of Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro with latest features making them a remarkable successor to the P20 Pro.

The core feature of the recent flagships by Huawei has been the stellar camera performance. The Mate 20 flagship is also equipped with camera prowess by Leica. The standard Mate 20 comes with a 16MP primary sensor with 12MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP 2x telephoto lens. The 24MP front camera of Mate 20 Pro is backed up by a dot project, proximity sensor, flood illuminator, IR camera, and an ambient light sensor. They have also added a 3D Live Emoji which can react to your facial expressions. The Mate 20 comes with the same functionality but with a smaller notch size.

The Mate 20 is equipped with a smaller 4,000 mAh battery. However, it doesn’t offer wireless charging.

One thing that might be disappointing for Huawei users is that the Mate 20 Pro doesn’t include a headphone jack. Instead, they have included a USB Type-C headphone jack adapter in the box for the users. The USB Type-C port is further equipped with stereo speakers for a better audio experience. On the other hand, a 3.5mm headphone jack is installed in Mate 20.

The Mate 20 Pro comes with the latest version of EMUI on-top of Android 9.0 Pie with plenty of software alterations.  A wireless desktop projection system is also installed in the device. Midnight Blue, and signature Twilight color. The Mate 20 with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration will be available in $925, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration will be available in $980.

With its new flagship, Huawei has become one of the fastest growing mobile companies in the market. Its Mate 20X flagship is being compared against Nintendo’s own Switch console for its remarkable features and specifications. The 1080p panel of the device is said to be capable of supporting continuous gaming for up to 6 hours which is comparatively longer than the Nintendo’s Switch. Moreover, its battery life is superior to that of the Switch.
